With over 12 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor of Business, and a CPA designation, she brings steady expertise and a big heart to the Legacy Homes team. She’s motivated by helping people turn their dreams into reality and loves working alongside others to make that happen. When she’s not keeping the numbers in line, you’ll find her enjoying time with family or tackling a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle.

Landon Holmes

A Red Seal Carpenter with over 15 years of hands-on experience, Landon brings skill, precision, and pride to every build. Passionate about making homeownership more attainable, he’s driven by the impact his work has on families and the local community. When he’s not on site, you’ll likely find him spending time with his family or belting Shania Twain at the top of his lungs.

Carmel MacKenzie

With over 19 years of financial experience and more than a decade at Legacy Homes, Carmel brings steady organization and deep industry knowledge to the team. She enjoys being part of a fast-moving, ever-changing industry and is inspired daily by the supportive, collaborative people she works alongside. When she’s not keeping things running smoothly, you might find her dancing to rock and roll or fast country music.

With a background in business administration from UPEI and hands-on experience as a former labourer and carpenter, Alex brings a practical, on-the-ground perspective to every project. He enjoys guiding clients through the building process with clarity and care, always keeping their experience top of mind. Island life suits him well; he loves beach swims, local sports, and great food (especially buffets).

Jess Murray

Project Manager

 
Jess is Project Manager, with a background in the trades having previously worked as a Parts Manager in the automotive industry. She thrives in the fast-paced world of homebuilding, where no two days are the same, and is passionate about guiding projects from start to finish. Jess is committed to open communication, ensuring clients feel informed and involved throughout the entire process. Originally from Prince Edward Island, she values the strong sense of community and, outside of work, enjoys spending time with her partner Corey and their dog Vader, exploring local trails and connecting with friends and family.

Sam Skauge

Project Manager

 
With five years at Holmes Construction, she’s grown from no prior construction experience to a certified project manager passionate about helping Islanders achieve homeownership. She treats every client like family, values teamwork above all, and loves seeing the real impact of her work in the community. When not managing builds, she enjoys traveling (30+ countries and counting!) and raising her family on PEI, where home truly feels like home.

Oscar To

Estimator & Draftsperson

 
With nearly eight years of experience designing and estimating modular and stick-built homes at Legacy, Oscar brings strong technical knowledge backed by architectural training and construction management education. He loves turning ideas into buildable designs, solving problems with precision, and helping clients make informed decisions using real numbers. When he’s not deep in drawings and details, he’s powered by unlimited office treats and a self-proclaimed master’s degree in instant noodles.
